About Vera Wang

Vera Wang, a native New Yorker, understands women who embrace fashion. By age 23, Vera was the youngest ever Vogue fashion editor, where she remained for 16 years before moving to Ralph Lauren as a design director. In 1990, Vera Wang opened her first store in Manhattan, introducing fashion to the bridal industry. Since then she has expanded her collections globally to include ready-to-wear, footwear, eyewear, fragrance, bedding, and more.

Vera Wang has won numerous accolades within the fashion industry and beyond. In 2021, Vera was awarded the National Medal of Arts from President Biden for her pioneering vision in the fashion industry. Her proudest accomplishment remains being a mother to her daughters, Cecilia and Josephine.
